The right to vote in the United States is sacred to all of us, and allowing non-citizens to participate dilutes the voices of American citizens.

The SAVE America Act (a revised version of the SAVE Act) includes a voter identification requirement and mandates proof of citizenship at the time of voter registration—closing loopholes that currently allow noncitizens to register and vote in our elections.

Yet, shockingly, some members of Congress are not yet signed on to support this legislation. Bills have been filed in both chambers, which means the time to act is NOW. This legislation must become law in order to protect our elections!

Call every one of your Members of Congress and demand that they cosponsor this bill (H.R. 7296 in the House and S.3752 in the Senate) and support it when it comes to the floor for a vote. Tell them that it’s past time we have confidence in our elections.

We will not sit back and watch as our votes continue to be diluted by non-citizens due to loopholes in the National Voter Registration Act and the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act.

Americans should have full faith and confidence that our elections are legitimate and decided only by lawful ballots cast by U.S. citizens.
